Lake Shore Inn serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at moderate prices.
The forest service provides areas to have a leisurely picnic and boat ramps at the marina Saguaro del Norte day use area. The Butcher Jones Recreation Area has a picnic area on the north side of the lake.
Picnic and boating areas most always fill up early on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer so try to get there early.

Saguaro Lake, the last lake in a chain of lakes on the Salt River and the closest to Phoenix is within the Tonto National Forest. The lake is stocked with fish and the successful fisherman here yeilds channel catfish, largemouth and yellow bass, bluegill and walleye.
The Desert Bell is a tour boat that makes an 11 mile scenic loop from October to April.
Saguaro lake marina offers boating supplies, boat rentals and a snack bar. Call 480-986-0969 for availability and reservations.
The lake is off of Arizona State Highway 87 (aka the Bush Highway) about halfway between Phoenix and Sunflower.
