by naturalists or just follow a self-guided trail that starts at the rear of the office. The Visitor center is open between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm weekdays and between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm on week ends.

If you would like to get a little more up close and personal with the canyon you can take a hike to the famous "seven falls" which is at the end of a 2.5 mile hike. It is worth the hike but with a 5 mile round trip hike it is not for everyone. Be sure to bring plenty of water.

If you would like to visit the canyon you should call the Santa Catalina Ranger District Office Line for information at: 520-749-8700.  You can also get recorded announcements from 520-749-3223. The park is located at 5900 N. Sabino Canyon Rd. So get out there and enjoy a beautiful day in one of Arizona's most lush desert canyons!

If it is nature that brings you to the city of Tucson you need to check out Sabino Canyon - a desert oasis in the southern foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. It is truly one of Tucson's finest attractions.

Sabino creek begins at the slopes of Mt. Lemmon and winds it's way down the canyon past lush vegitation and where wildlife such as deer , javalina, coyotes and other animals seek food and shelter. At the visitor center where the canyon begins, get information as well as scheduled walks
