While some of the smaller lakes in the mountains are some of the most scenic, they are limited to fishing activities only and some just from the shore. However they can't be beat for spending a day leisurely waiting for a bite.
The high and low desert lakes are usually those open to a myriad of watersports and what a great way to spend a toasty day off in the heat of the summer?!
In the following links you will find several articles to shed better light on which lake is best and also included are the links for camping, hours and fees as well as lake activities and services.
Have a great day out on the lake and make it a safe one!
Funny to think of lakes in a state that has so much desert but Arizona has some of the prettiest and most accessible lakes that any state has to offer. If you're interested in boating, skiing, knee & wake boarding, jetskiing or just spending the day quietly fishing, you'll find a lake in Arizona to suit your needs.
